Class 2012: Mathieu Bouchard, OL, Champlain Cougars / Team Quebec (all star)


Today CFC features class of 2012 Offensive Linemen Mathieu Bouchard of CEGEP AAA Champlain Cougars and Team Quebec. Mathieu started every game with both teams, was Offensive Rookie of the year for the Cougars, and a Football Canada Cup all star.

Class 2012

Mathieu played high school with the Mustangs from Dominique-Racine (AA), where he won outstanding athlete. In 2009 he played for Team Quebec and won a tournament all star. In 2010 he also played for Team Quebec and also was a tournament all star. As mentioned above this year he started in every game for the Champlain Cougars.

His most memorable football experience was “the opportunity to represent my province at the Football Canada Cup”.

The most influential people in his life is “my family who have made many sacrifices to give me the opportunity to play football. The most influential in football would be my high school coaches. They showed me how to be a great football player and a great person.”
