Class 2012 : NB All Star Quarterback Michael Bohan looking at various CIS programs (video)

Michael Bohan is considering 3 different AUS programs, but is leaving options open for next fall.

Michael started playing football when he was in grade 5, he played in the Sackville minor football association growing up where he remained until he was in grade 10. His high School career was played with the Tantramar Titans where he played 3 seasons. After 2 rebuilding years, Micheal led the Titans to their first championship final since 1997. Michael also spent the summer with the New-Brunswick U18 elite program.

The 6’1, 185 lbs Bohan was also named the New-Brunswick player of the year the last 2 seasons making him a target for various CIS programs.

“I have been considering Mount-Allison, ST-FX and Acadia, but i have not ruled out any other possibility’s” said Bohen.

Michael was a big threat on the ground rushing for over 1000 yards but is also capable of hurting defences with his throwing arm. Michael was also used on defence playing Free safety for the Titans. Michael showed that he was an all around athlete, often being on the field for long amounts of time. His greatest football moment came this season when the Titans reached the provincial final.

“It would have been nice to win the title, but the championship game was still the most exciting game i have ever been a part of”.

Bohan also added that his father has been a big inspiration in his football career and also everyday life.

“My father has always made everything very easy for me, no matter how important the game is or the outcome of it, he has always used the motto: Its just a game, have fun with it. He has been a great mentor for me”.
