Class 2012:OL Marc Glaude will pursue CIS career with Carabins

After a successful CEGEP career with Vanier College, Marc Glaude will stay in Montreal.

Marc Glaude began playing football at a young age. He pursued his football career at the CEGEP division 1 level with the Vanier College Cheatahs. Along the way, Marc was named an all star in both the 2010 and 2011 seasons. He also won the Bol d’Or in 2010 and that was Glaude’s best football moment.

“Winning the Bol d’Or 31-28 over Cross city rival “Les spartiates du Vieux-Montreal”, it was such a close game, it was a special moment” said Glaude.

What makes Marc a dominant offensive lineman is his mobility. He stands at 6’3, 295 pounds and he is able to play at the Center, Guard and Tackle position, something that is not common in offensive lineman. Playing all 3 positions at such a high level makes him a valuable target for university programs.

Glaude said that without the help of his parents and friends, he would not have been able to continue his football career

“My parents have supported me and guided me since day 1, I could not ask for more”.

Marc will be enrolling at the University of Montreal in september of 2012 and would like to make his presence felt with the Carabins in his first season.

The Carabins are coming off a 6-3 season, finishing in 3rd place in the RSEQ. The Carabins where eliminated in the Dunsmore cup game to Vanier Runner up the Laval Rouge et OR after a good playoff performance.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
