Peter’s ascension as a future football star started with the St. Michael’s Kerry Blues in 2009. He would continue to play with the Blues and the Toronto Jr Argos for three seasons.

The center helped the Jr. Argos win the OFC junior varsity championship and was named team lineman of the year (2009). Additionally, Peter went to Lethbridge, Alberta in July 2011 to participate in the Canada Football Cup as a member of Team Ontario East. The experience of the tourney has been the highlight of the young football star’s career.

“Playing with and against the best football players your age in the country just pushes you to do your best, you have to step it up and play like you never have,” explains the Blues standout. “Doing almost nothing but football the whole time was also an amazing experience.”

A major part of Peter’s success comes from the influence of his teammates.

“A lot of us started playing football together, and have formed a strong bond,” says Peter. “We try and push each other to do our best on and off the field.”

The graduating centre says that hard work has been the key to achieving all his success on and off the field.

“Hard work pays off, if you do not put any work into football, you’ll get no results,” comments Peter. “The same goes with anything in life, to get the most out of anything, you have to put in work.”
