After winning 4 CEGEP division 2 championships, Louis Boisvert is looking to bring his experience to the next level.
Louis began his football career in Lachine, Qc. He suited up for “Les Aigles de DalbΓ©-Viau” during 4 seasons as he finished high school. After high school, Louis continued his football career at the CEGEP in Sherbrooke, where he played for the Volontaires for the next 4 seasons. During his time with the Volontaires, Boisvert won 4 championships. He was also named on the league all star team this season.
“Winning 4 championships is something I am very proud of, they are great years in my life” said Louis.
The 6’1, 220 pound Linebacker is not certain what University he will be attending in 2012. He wants to play at the CIS level.
“Laval is currently my number 1 choice, even if they have recruited many Linebackers this season, but I am still looking at my options”.
His most Memorable football moment came in 2009, when Louis intercepted a pass with 32.6 seconds left on the Clock in the semi final against CNDF. The interception assured the victory for the Volontaires.
“It was the play of my life, I will never forget that moment, I still smile when i think about it” said Boisvert.
Boisvert added that without his 2 previous head coaches Dominick MΓ©nard and Jean Benoit Jubinville, he would not be the Linebacker that he is today. He also said his parents have made it so much easier for him. They have never missed one of Louis’ games.
“My parents have given me everything i can ask for, they are a big reason i played football through CEGEP and high school, I appreciate everything they have done for me”.
Louis will be enrolling in Physical education when he heads to university in 2012.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
