Class 2012

While living in Hamilton Tommy played for the Wentworth Panthers until his move to London. He now plays for the Mother Teresa Spartans, where in grade 10 he won the junior football MVP and in grade 11 the team went to the Western Bowl in the OFSAA playdowns. In 2010 Tommy also played for Team Ontario, blocking for dynamic running backs Tyler Varga, Alex Iessi, and Johnny Augustine.

His most memorable football experience was his grade 10 season at Mother Teresa. “We went 8-0 and won the city championship of London on a very snowny night. That year is so memorable because I am so close to those guys on that team, who I have now spent 4 years with.”

His most influential person in life and football is his Dad, Greg. “He has taught me more than anyone else. From such a young age I was into football, and he encouraged me and taught me what he knows. My dad, brothers and I played a lot of backyard football. There I learned all the routes and plays. He was a fullback as am I.”
