Over the span of his young football career, Patric has achieved success while playing with the York Simcoe Bucs organization and his high school team Villanova Knights. During his first year of playing football, the Knights tackle was most improved defensive lineman. At Villanova, he was team MVP of the offensive line during his freshman year.

Moreover, Patric has been able to have theopportunities to attend prestigious camps. Those include an underman class combine in Rochester, offensive/defensive line camp in Michigan and a football camp in Syracuse.

“My most memorable football experience is when I attended the camps down south as I saw what competition there was down in the United States,” adds the lineman.

In football, Patric has tried to emulate NFL star player Ray Lewis on and off the field.

“He is my favorite player and also has the attitude that he will never quit on and off the field,” explains the offensive lineman who also plays basketball.

Off the field, his parents have influenced his attitude to never quit in anything whether it is academics or sports.

As for future career goals, the Knights standout has not given it much thought; however, he does say that as long as he gets a great education, he will find something that will steer him towards a career.

Overall, the gridiron has taught him to WIN, but it’s not what one thinks as there is a different symbolism to Patric.

“The most important thing that I have learned in football that I apply in life is WIN which stands for What’s Important Now,” comments Patric. “If you follow WIN on and off the field, I think you can succeed in every aspect of the game and as well as life.”
