Over the course of his career, Josh has played football at various levels.Β Β Among the teams he’s suited up for include the Sherwood Park Broncos, Sherwood Park Raiders, and the Sherwood Park Rams.Β Β During his time with the Rams, the standout was named the team’s outstanding defensive player.
Josh made an immediate impact on the field as soon he joined his high school team, the Fort Saskatchewan Sting of the Alberta Schools Athletic Association (ASAA). He was named the team’s rookie of the year for a stellar campaign in his first season.Β Β In 2011, the star player was selected to participate in the 2011 Bantam Bowl as a member of Team North.
Moreover, the defensive back travelled this past July to London, Ontario to represent Team Alberta at the 2012 Football Canada Cup tournament.Β Β This was the highlight of his gridiron career thus far.
Overall, Josh says he’s been fortunate to have many individuals that have played a major role in all his football and life endeavours.
“My parents are influential in my life and my dad is my football mentor,” comments the defensive back.Β Β “Also, Kamau Peterson is influential in my football career.”
Consequently from playing the game of football, Josh has learned so many things from the game of football, also too many to mention.
“I have learned how to work with people as well as how to use hard work and teamwork to my advantage,” says Josh.Β Β “Football has thought me so much about how to live my life.”
“I could go on for hours about how it impacts my life.”
