Christophe Lajoie was very impressed with Ron Hilaire.

As a result, the 6ā€™2, 280 pound offensive lineman from Quebec City, Quebec committed to McGill Redmen. Lajoie will join the RSEQ team for the 2016 season.

Recently, Lajoie completed his CEGEP career with Division 1ā€™s Campus Notre-Dame-de-Foy (CNDF). With his commitment to the Redmen, he will also be reunited with a former CNDF coach.

ā€œI chose McGill because they offered me a chance to enter the greatest university in Canada as a student and an athlete,ā€ commented the offensive lineman, who previously suited up for RSEQ Juvenile Division 1ā€™s Academie Saint-Louis Arsenal.Ā  ā€œOn the football program side, my coach at CNDF and now at McGill, Sebastien LĆ©vesque did a lot for me and as we visited the campus last Friday.ā€

ā€œI really liked Coach Hilaire goals and he seemed really passionate while he was talking about his program and that got me. Ā I like when a coach is 100 percent invested in his program.ā€

Not only will Lajoie be reunited with Levesque, but also Alain Mainguy who was his former Offensive Line Coach with the Arsenal.
