Concordia a “new start” for CEGEP recruit

CEGEP defensive back signs with RSEQ team

Jean-Pierre Doret wanted to go to a special place to begin his CIS career.

Consequently, the 5’9, 180 pound defensive back from Laval (Auteuil), Quebec signed with the Concordia Stingers.  Doret will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.

“I committed at Concordia University because it’s a great university and I was looking for a unique opportunity,” commented Doret of his commitment.  “I felt like home during my first visit, the coaches are doing an awesome job with the football program.”

“I want to be part of something great and mark history with the Stingers! It’s a new start for me and I can’t wait to join the all team for the season.”

Doret only began playing two years ago with CEGEP Division 2 team, Lionel Groulx Nordiques.  In 2014, he transferred over to CEGEP Division 1 squad, Montmorency Nomades.
