Concordia “building something real special” says CEGEP recruit (VIDEO)

Lasalle halfback/safety joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class.

For Jersey Henry, a major opportunity that was presented to him was too good to pass up.

As a result, the 6’1, 200 pound halfback/safety from Lasalle, Quebec committed to the Concordia Stingers. Henry will join the team for the 2016 RSEQ season.

“The biggest reason why I chose to commit to Concordia was manly the relationship I’ve developed with both Head Coach Mickey Donovan and Defensive Coordinator Pat Donovan,” expressed Henry.  “They are building something real special and I want to be apart of changing this program around going forward.”

“Plus, they have a great academic support system. Lastly, being that the university is so close to home made my decision that much easier that way my family can come and support the team.”

Most recently, Henry suited up for CEGEP Division 1 team Vanier Cheetahs.
