Concordia “right place” for CEGEP recruit (VIDEO)

CEGEP recruit joins RSEQ team’s 2016 class.

It was a perfect situation for Kizito Kabanza.

The 6’2, 185 pound defensive back who is a native of Abidjan, Ivory Coast, committed to Concordia Stingers.  Kabanza will join the team for the 2016 RSEQ season.

“I committed to Concordia because they gave me the best opportunity,” expressed the defensive standout of his decision.  “Many universities talked to me, but even so, I knew that it was the right place for me.”

“When I made my visit, I liked the coaching staff right away, particularly Marc Calixte the Defensive Back Coach. I saw that every player on the team counts and had a nice family bond. The coaches told me about their plans for the future and I wanted to be part of it. It also helped to have some good advice from many of my CEGEP coaches, especially Mikael Charland, a senior that comes from the same CEGEP as me which helped me make a good choice.”
