“I committed to the Concordia Stingers because they felt like family right away,” expressed the defensive back of his decision.  “They were the first team to reach out to me and been showing me a lot of love ever since.”

“I really liked the chemistry I felt on the team and the school had the program I wanted. For the football program, im really impressed by what coach Mickey and Pat have done since their arrival. They’ve really transformed and turned the program around. I see its progression and it is something I want to be a part of.”

During his final season with CEGEP Division 1 team, Vanier Cheetahs, Botat caught two interceptions and registered 33 tackles.

Previous to the Cheetahs, the defensive back suited up for St. Laurent Spartans.
