Special teams also played a big role as Austin Crumb, suiting up in his first game as a Fratmen who scored twice on returns, an 85 punt return and a 90 yard kickoff return. Austin Lumley and the offense struggled, but came through when needed, Lumley rushed in two 4th quarter touchdowns to stake the Fratmen to the 30-20 win.

Up next for the Fratmen will be a matchup with undefeated Hamilton Hurricanes Saturday September 7th at 7pm. Coming into this week the Hurricanes and Fratmen were ranked 2nd and 3rd in the CJFL respectively. Saturday the Fratmen will participate in the CJFL Minor Football Week, any minor football player who wears their jersey to the game will get in free.
