HAMILTON, Ont. β Ontario University Athletics announced Wednesday that long-time OUA executive director Ward Dilse has stepped down from the position, effective immediately.
In his 13 years at the helm, Dilse built and strengthened countless relationships between OUA and its many partners and sponsors.
βOn behalf of the board of directors and the entire OUA membership, I thank Ward for the leadership and vision he has provided OUA. The organization has grown tremendously under his guidance and we are grateful for his many contributions,β said OUA president Jennifer Myers. βWe wish Ward all the best in his future endeavours.β
A search committee has been established and the search for the new executive director of OUA will begin within the next month.
