Cochrane defensive back joins CWUAA team’s 2014 class.

Scott Haigh was impressed by the courting attempts of one CIS school.

The 5’11, 184 pound defensive back from Cochrane, Alberta has opted to stay in his home province. He’s committed to the University of Calgary Dinos.  Haigh will join the team for the 2015 CWUAA season.

“I committed to University of Calgary because I felt most wanted there out of the schools I was considering,” expressed Haigh of his commitment.  “They made me feel like they really wanted me to be a part of their team and I feel that I have an opportunity, if I work hard enough, to play early in my career.”

“Also, they have a great business school and an outstanding support system for players. I feel that Calgary gives me a great chance to succeed on and off the field. Another factor is that I know a few players already and will know lots of people at the University.”
