CALGARY – The five-time defending Canada West champion University of Calgary Dinos begin their quest for a sixth title next week with the opening of their 2013 Training Camp, presented by Perpetual Energy.
The kickoff media conference will take place at Spolumbo’s Deli on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 1:30 p.m., with on-field sessions beginning Saturday, Aug. 17 at McMahon Stadium. The first week will end with an exhibition game against the Laval Rouge et Or on Saturday, Aug. 24.
The 2013 season opens Saturday, August 31 when the Dinos travel to Vancouver to take on the UBC Thunderbirds. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. at Thunderbird Stadium.
