Brenden is currently with the River East Kodiaks of the Winnipeg High School Football League (WHSFL). In the past, Brenden has played on the East Side Eagles of the MMFL.

Besides being a linebacker and playing on the defensive line, Brenden’s versatility is reflected through playing other positions on the field. He was chosen to play on the provincial Under-16 team where he was a tight end.  Additionally, he has also played on the offensive line and at wide receiver.

Last season, the highlight for Brenden was when he recorded a few sacks.

One of the most influential people in Brenden’s life is his mom.

“I can always count on her to be at my game and I can always hear her screaming for me no matter what,” adds the Kodiaks standout.

Presently, Brenden doesn’t have any future plans on where he would like to go school. However, he would like to become a lawyer in future years. SInce he is in grade nine, there hasn’t been much of a recruitment process yet.

Recently, Brenden had to take some time off from the gym to recuperate from from the gruelling, yet rewarding experience of the provincial under-16 team.

This upcoming season, Brenden has one goal in mind.

“I’m going to work hard to become the best at my position and willing to do what it takes to do so,” says Brenden.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
