Desjardins started his football career at the age of 9. Since then, he has been playing for the Γ‰cole des Pionniers Gothics and the AcadΓ©mie les Estacades. The athlete also played with Team Quebec 2016, where he won the Canada Cup against Team Saskatchewan.

The best moment of his last season was their win against the Roger-Comptois Patriotes. The AcadΓ©mie les Estacades won the game with a final score of 8-7, leading by only one point.

HeΒ has not made his decision about his future CEGEP team. He still has one year to go in high school football, and all he isΒ focused on is this upcoming season.

Desjardins admitted to have been approached by a few CEGEP coaches already, but he still has a few months to go and a last season to play before making his final choice. β€œMy decision will mainly be based on the team’s coaching staff.” maintained the defensive lineman. He has not made any official visits for the moment, and does not have plans to do one yet.

His life and football inspirations are his family, his girlfriend, and his friends. β€œThey have always been there to support me and to cheer me up, especially in the football side of my life.” states Desjardins.

β€œI made a lot of sacrifices to get where I am today. I had to change school and even had to lose some friends. I won’t stop working.” said Desjardins.

With the 2016 high school football season starting in a few days, this defensive player wanted to improve his speed and his physical strength during the summer. He also mentioned that he wanted to work on his concentration to get better on the field, and more focused on his training regiment.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
