Dream realized

CEGEP defensive back signs with RSEQ team.

For Mike Zenobi, making a decision on his CIS future was an easy one.

The 5’10, 175 pound defensive back (halfback) from Beaconsfield, Quebec has signed with the Concordia Stingers.  He will join the team for the 2014 RSEQ season.

By virtue of making his commitment, this is a dream realized for Zenobi.

“Along with strong academics I chose Concordia because I went to Loyola, which is the high school right next to Concordia so I have always looked up to the Concordia players,” explained Zenobi of his decision.  “Getting this opportunity is a dream come true and I look forward to contributing in any way I can.”

“Coaches Pat and Mickey (Donovan) were very welcoming which made the choice that much easier.”

Recently, Zenobi played for CEGEP Division 2 team, John Abbott College Islanders.  This past season, he registered 14 tackles in four games for the Islanders.

In addition to the Islanders, Zenobi has previously suited up for Lakeshore Cougars.
