East-West Bowl week: Free Agent camp & coaches clinic spots filling up


The 2011 East-West Bowl week will prove to be the busiest and brightest event to date. The week includes a CFL free agent camp (Wednesday), a coaches clinic (Friday & Saturday), Senior Men’s National Team evaluation combine (Saturday), and of course the CIS East-West Bowl game (Saturday). Spots are filling up for both the coaches clinic (40+) and the CFL free agent camp (40+). Be sure to pre-register or buy your tickets today.

CFL Free Agent Camp

The CFL Free Agent Combine Camp is set for Wednesday May 4; registration begins at 4 pm at TD Waterhouse Stadium. All 8 CFL Clubs have confirmed representation. Coaches of the 2011 Senior Men’s National Team will also be present to evaluate players for the team that will be competing in Austria (July 8-16) at the IFAF World Championships.

Coaches Clinic

The 2011 East-West Bowl Coaches Clinic is set for Friday May 6 and Saturday May 7. The clinic will include CFL and CIS coaches presenting on the Canadian game. Speakers include Dan Dorazio, Mike O’Shea, Jamie Baressi, Corey Chamblin, Khari Jones, Ted Goveia, Steve Sumarah, Ed Carlton and more. There will also be on-field drill demonstrations by both Team East and Team West coaches and players. This is a great clinic at an affordable price.

CIS East-West game

The 2011 East-West Bowl week will be a great week of opportunity for both coaches and players. The game will showcase the future Canadian stars of the CFL. We look forward to seeing you in London at The University of Western Ontario.
