Edmonton duo invades Carleton

Edmonton athletes newest recruits to join OUA team’s 2015 class.

The Carleton Ravens will have their own brotherly tandem this fall on their roster.

Over the weekend, the Ravens announced the commitment of both Jonathan and Frederic Muamba to the football problem.  Both will join the team for the 2015 OUA season.

Both athletes, who are from Edmonton, have suited up for the Austin O’Brien Crusaders of the Alberta Schools Athletic Association (ASAA).  Jonathan has previously held a spot on the CFC 100 CLASS 2014 RANKINGS.

Ravens Head Coach Steve Sumarah said the team is thrilled to have landed the duo and is looking forward to the wealth or talent and experience they both bring to the football program.

“”We are very excited to have both Jonathan and Frederic be a part of the Ravens program,” commented Sumarah.  “Both brothers are very talented and exceptional athletes that will help out program continue to develop.”

“Work still lies ahead but they are motivated as are we for them to have the best experience both on and off the field.”

Echoing the sentiments of Sumarah is Ravens Defensive Coordinator Ryan Bechmanis.

“We are really looking forward to getting to work with Frederic and Jonathan,” expressed Bechmanis.  “They are both terrific athletes with a lot of potential and we cannot wait to watch them work and develop over the coming years.”
