What is the Fox40 Prospect Challenge West Showcase?
The Fox40 Prospect Challenge West Showcase is an annual weekend event held at Minoru Park in Richmond, BC, featuring prospects from Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Prospects will arrive on Friday afternoon where they will be divided into five Varsity teams (2008-2010) and two Junior Varsity teams (2011-2013). The first iteration of the Fox40 Prospect Challenge took place back in 2013 and has featured many prospects who have gone on to have successful collegiate and pro careers including BC Lions QB Nathan Rourke, Buffalo Bills WR Joshua Palmer, Los Angeles Rams LB Jesse Luketa, Hamilton Tiger-Cats WR Kiondre Smith and Ottawa RedBlacks OL Zack Pelehos.

How does the format work?
Prospects will participate in practices with their teams on Friday/Saturday, and then gameday on Sunday with all the action being livestreamed on our YouTube channel. Junior Varsity will be the first game on Sunday, and will play a full regular game format with four quarters. The Varsity teams will follow a jamboree format with each team playing a series of four 30 minute games so they have a chance to face a wide variety of opponents, which helps avoid mismatches and potential blowouts ensuring that everyone has a fair chance to showcase their skills.Β
Why should I attend?
- You will test your skills against a wide variety of players from across Western Canada
- You will receive hands on coaching from a different perspective than your high school/community teams
- You will be able to use the livestream broadcast on our YouTube channel to produce highlight reels
- You will be evaluated for the CFC100 High School Prospect Rankings
- You will be graded based on your performance and added to the CFC Star Rankings Database
- You will be added to the CFC Profile Database (if you do not already have one)
- You will received a Pro-style headshot that will be added to your CFC Prospect Profile and sent directly to you via email
- You will receive a gameday jersey that is yours to keep
- You will be contacted for a Prospect Story to be posted on our social channels and website
- You will receive a 50% discount code for the Annual CFCINSIDER Membership
