- The Juvenile DI Bol d’Or is staying in the capital for another year after Saint-Jean-Eudes left no doubt about who the best team was in Quebec this season with a 31-7 victory over College Bourget. It caps off another magnificent season where their only hiccup came in an upset at the hands of Armand-Corbeil back in week three, but they didn’t let that loss fester and would never lose again ripping off seven straight wins to end their campaign as champions for the third year in a row. They now own a 29-3 record in the past three years, and are the only program to go back-t0-back-to-back in the modern Bol d’Or era beginning in 2006.

- For the first time in school history, Charles P. Allen have won the Nova Scotia DI provincial championship with a dominant 22-0 victory over Citadel. The Cheetahs have made it to the finals five times before, including a heartbreaking 22-17 loss to Bay View last season, but they came back with a vengeance this year and would not be denied putting together one of the most dominant seasons in the province’s history. They were untouchable during the regular season outscoring their opponents 389-27 across seven games, and even though it was a stressful afternoon in their semifinals showdown against Woodlawn, they proved that they also had the ability to overcome adversity pulling out a clutch 9-4 victory to save their perfect season. All told, they finished with a 420-31 point differential, and will go down in history as the first group of Cheetahs who finally found a way to outrun the pack. It’s going to be tough for any future teams to top their performance this season.
- Frontenac will be playing for an OFSAA banner for the 16th time in school history after defeating their rivals Holy Cross 31-6 in the Kingston city finals. Life is always harder when it’s OFSAA or bust every year, but this Falcons program continues to answer the bell as they look to make it five bowl victories in a row. This trip to the festival will feel a little bit different, however, because they have been matched up with juggernaut Huron Heights in the Southern Bowl, which promises to be one of the most anticipated games in OFSAA history featuring two of the most storied programs in Ontario. The Warriors are hunting for their third straight bowl victory, and ninth in school history, which would move them up to second all-time right behind Frontenac, who hold the record with 11. It doesn’t get any better than this, and we can’t wait to see who comes out on top in this heavyweight battle under the lights at Alumni Stadium in Guelph.

- London has been painted blue for the second year in a row with Catholic Central defeating St. Andre Bessette 39-7 in the TVRA Tier I finals. The Crusaders have now earned their spot in the Western Bowl where they await the winner of tomorrow’s GHAC finals between Bishop Ryan and Assumption. This will be Catholic Central’s eighth OFSAA Bowl appearance, and they’ll be looking to snag their fifth banner in school history.
- There’s no question marks attached to who the best teams in SOSSA are this year. Westdale pushed the pedal through the floor in their 47-6 blowout against Notre Dame, and A.N. Myer left no doubts in their 41-14 victory against Westmount. This now sets up a thrilling championship contest with a berth in the Golden Horseshoe Bowl against Korah hanging in the balance. A.N. Myer are looking to lockdown their fourth straight bowl appearance, while Westdale are hoping to make their third bowl appearance in school history with their last trip to the big dance coming in 2015.
- It was a tale of two very difference games in the GHAC semifinals. On one side of the bracket, Bishop Ryan continued their magical season with a 37-5 thrashing against Corpus Christi to book their ticket to the finals. On the other side, we witnessed an instant classic with Assumption erasing a 28-10 deficit in the second half that culminated with a walk-off touchdown to give the Crusaders a 38-35 victory over Nelson with zeroes on the clock. We’re sure they’re still riding that high as they prepare to take on Bishop Ryan tomorrow afternoon with a spot in the Western Bowl against Catholic Central on the line. This would be the first ever appearance at the OFSAA Football Festival for Bishop Ryan with their only OFSAA bowl game coming before the modern era back in 2008, while Assumption are looking to make it back for the second time in school history with their first trip coming back in 2014 when they defeated Assumption College out of Brantford.

CFC100 CLASS 2026 RANKINGS
- There’s only two teams left standing in CWOSSA, and lucky for them they both will have a chance to go bowling this year thanks to the Guelph Gryphons hosting the festivities. Now all that’s left to do is figure out which bowls they are heading to. St. James locked down their spot in the finals in a nailbiter against St. John’s, who gave them everything they could handle before falling 17-16 in heartbreaking fashion after their last second field goal attempt sailed wide. On the other side of the bracket, Elmira kept their undefeated record in tact with a 23-3 victory against St. Benedict, which earned them a spot on the rankings for the first time this year. The winner will be representing CWOSSA in the Simcoe Bowl against the champions from SWOSSAA, while the losers will be heading to the Independent Bowl for a showdown against Confederation out of Sudbury, who were the runner-ups in NOSSA.
- St. Joan of Arc are heading back to the OFSAA Football Festival for the first time since 2019 after defeating Maple Ridge 35-21 in the GBSSA finals. They’ll now prepare for a tussle with Robert F. Hall in the Central Bowl in hopes of bringing home their second ever OFSAA banner with their first coming against Central Tech back in 2013. Robert F. Hall will play for the Metro Bowl this week against Chaminade College after defeating Paul Dwyer 30-7 in the second ever 905 Bowl.
- We make our last Ontario stop this week in Ottawa where the city finals will feature the defending back-to-back champions St. Joseph putting their title to the test against St. Mark. St. Joseph smashed the glass slipper to bring an end to Mer Bleue’s inaugural season with a 25-21 victory, while St. Mark held on by the skin of their teeth to walk away with 12-7 victory against Holy Trinity. The winner will snag a ticket to the OFSAA Football Festival where they’ll be taking on Paul Dwyer in the National Capital Bowl. St. Joseph is looking to make their third straight bowl appearance and finally capture their first OFSAA banner, while St. Mark are searching for their first ever appearance at the modern Bowl Festival with their only trips coming back in 2001 and 2006 when they split the difference in their two matchups against Frontenac.

CFC60 JUVENILE RANKINGS
- We jet across the country now to catch-up with the Alberta provincial playdowns where we’ve only got four teams left standing after a unique season in Wild Rose Country. Although we were expecting some potential upsets due to the long layoff in the middle of the season, there were no surprises in the quarterfinals with the top four seeds all taking care of business as usual. But that just means we’ve got two wicked matchups in the semifinals with Harry Ainlay putting it all on the line against Ernest Manning, and Raymond ready to lock horns with Notre Dame. Raymond, Ernest Manning and Harry Ainlay are the only three teams who’ve made a trip to the provincial finals in the last three years with all three trading blows and coming away victorious in that order, while Notre Dame are the outlier who’re hoping to make their first appearance in the big dance since 2015 when they went to four straight where they won three in a row before dropping the last against St. Francis.
- Last but certainly not least, it was a wild week of quarterfinals action in British Columbia. The defending three time champions Vancouver College said not so fast to everyone who’s already written their obituary as they found a way to come out on top 10-6 against Robert Bateman, who despite the heartbreaking loss, should feel nothing but pride after a stellar showing in their first AAA campaign. That should’ve been the biggest headline of the week, but instead W.J. Mouat and New Westminster decided to go crazy in their quarterfinals contest with the Hawks coming out on top 76-53 in a game that was more suited for the hardwood than the gridiron. In our other two match-ups, Lord Tweedsmuir followed the script with a breezy 35-9 victory over Notre Dame, while South Delta unlocked the code against Centennial to avenge their regular season loss with a 21-7 triumph. This now sets up a spectacular final four with Vancouver College looking to prove all the naysayers wrong again against Lord Tweedsmuir, who got the better of the Fighting Irish in their first regular season contest, while South Delta look to keep the revenge tour rolling with a second chance to hand W.J. Mouat their first loss after falling 34-26 back in week five.
