CEGEP defensive back newest recruit to join AUS team’s 2014 class.

In the coming months, Schneider Charles will be beginning the next gridiron chapter in Halifax.

Yesterday, the 6’1, 180 pound defensive back from Montreal, Quebec committed to the Saint Mary’s Huskies for the 2014 AUS season.

“I am deeply humble and honored to be a part of this new family,” said Charles of his commitment.  “I’m blessed because this is what God has planned for me.”

“I will extremely work hard to learn more and help this organization.”

Charles joins the Huskies after completing his CEGEP career with Division 1 team, Montmorency Nomades.   Previous to the Nomades, the defensive back suited up for the North Shore Mustangs.

As for the Huskies, the team is thrilled that Charles will be part of the fold.

“We are very happy to have Schneider join us at Saint Mary’s,” commented Huskies Head Coach Perry Marchese.  “He is a great addition to the family.”
