Wallaceburg versatile standout newest recruit to join OUA team’s 2014 class.

An Ontario standout has decided to join a provincial CIS team for the 2014 season.

Brayden Fischer is the most recent recruit to commit to the Lancers.Ā  The 6ā€™3, 170 free safety from Wallaceburg, Ontario comes to the team after completing his high school career with Wallaceburg Tartans of the Kent County Secondary Schools Athletic Association (KCSSAA). Fischer guided the team to two South Western Ontario Secondary Schools Athletic Association (SWOSSAA) titles as well as three KCSSAA championships at the quarterback position.

The Lancers are thrilled to have Fischer as he will be an asset to the team.

ā€œWe are excited to add a great athlete like Brayden to our program,ā€ commented Lancers Head Coach Joe Dā€™Amore.Ā  ā€œHe as the ability to play a variety positions but we feel free safety will be his best opportunity to compete for playing time.”
