Position: Head Coach U20 Junior National Team

Job Description: Football Canada is seeking an individual to fill the position of Head Coach for a four year period covering two U20 World Championships beginning in 2012.
The Head Coach will work closely with Football Canada’s Director of Sport in recruiting and selecting players, coaching staff, an athletic therapist and an equipment manager to participate in the 2012 International Federation of American Football (IFAF) U20 Junior World Championship to be held in July 2012.
The selected candidate will be responsible in providing a positive experience through their leadership of a competitive junior football program that values respect, teamwork and achievement.
Qualifications:
• Canadian citizen
• Member of Football Canada via their Provincial Association
• NCCP fully certified Level II or Level III Coach in football (or equivalent)
• Coached at an elite level (i.e. CFL, CIS, CJFL, QJFL, CEGEP, Football Canada Cup, or Provincial Championship)
• Head coach for at least a five year period
• Proven record of experience in coaching events involving American football rules (i.e. exhibition games, exchanges, summer camps)
