Football was an easy choice for QB Zinger

Carter Zinger started football in the summer of 2010 when he was in grade 4. ā€œMy friends and I thought it would be so much fun to ā€œhitā€ some other kids,ā€ he said. Carterā€™s parents thought he was too young to play because the age difference was three years, however, with Carter continually hounding them, they finally conceded and let Carter join a team. ā€œWell, to my surprise football practice wasnā€™t like I thought it would be,ā€ he replied. ā€œIt was far more than just ā€œhittingā€ some guys. It was hard work, it was intense, and it was hot!ā€ Three of Carterā€™s friends quit, which left Carter and his friend the only grade 4ā€™s left on the team. Carter fell in love with the game and never looked back.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
