Former Waterloo football player pleads guilty to several charges


Eric Legare, 26, the former waterloo warrior football player charged with multiple break and enters and obstructing police, pleaded guilty on friday.

Legare was arrested earlier in the year. When the police raided the homes of Legare (and fellow warrior player Nathan Zettler) over $7500 worth of stolen property and multiple types of steroids were found.

Sentencing will take place in january for the break ins, which included a Canadian Tire and 2 student houses. The crown is seeking jail sentence.

The cases on Nathan Zettler and Brandon Krukowski are still before the court.

In June, the university of waterloo suspended their program for one year.
