Fox 40 profile (#CFCFPC): RB McGregor ready to compete against serious players

Quinn McGregor has been playing both spring and fall football with the Hamilton Football Association (HFA) for the past three years.

He has been with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats rep team for each fall season, including this current season as he plays at the bantam level.

“My goals for [the] Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) are to get ranked and recognize for all my football efforts,” said Quinn. “I also want to compete against other serious players.”

During the offseason, the running back does many things to stay in shape.

He participates in conditioning camps, has a weight training program and plans to join his school’s, Dundas Valley Secondary School, indoor track team.

The Ti-Cat also snowboards every weekend in the winter, and will be on Dunas Valley’s snowboarding team to compete in the OFSAA competition at Blue Mountain.

“My favourite player is t Hamilton TigCats’ running back, C.J. Gavble, because I think he is a great athlete,” commented Quinn.

“I love to play football because I love the game and being part of a strong team,” explained the Jr. TiCat.

“I also love challenging myself physically,” added Quinn.
