Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (West Coast): QB Lebedow looking to elevate his game

For quarterback and receiver, Canyon Lebedow, playing football means competing and winning. The 5’11 and 135-pound athlete has been playing and training for five years in order to be the best he can be.

He was a part of the VFML Championship team in 2015 JB Cloverdale and is ready to get on with the Lord Tweedsmuir Panthers in the British Columbia High School Football League for the upcoming season.

Describing himself as “highly competitive”, Lebedow looks up to another highly competitive athlete, former NFL player for the Denver Broncos, quarterback Peyton Manning. “He is a true game manager, which is what I strive to be,” Lebedow explains, “He know how to win and be humble.”

In order to continue to improve on his football skills and abilities, Lebedow participates with Game Ready as well as plays rugby, runs track, and plays flag football in the off-season.

Also to get seen by coaches for upcoming season, compete and win,” says Lebedow of his goals for the CFCFPC. He also competes in other various camps and clinics and personal training from former BC Lions players.

But while Lebedow is striving to be the best, he also knows that isn’t all the game is about.

“To have fun playing the game I love!”
