Gee-Gees ‘perfect fit’ for CEGEP recruit

CEGEP wide receiver signs with OUA team.

There will be a reunion in the Nation’s Capital.

Recently, Jamie Harry committed to the Ottawa Gee-Gees.  The 6’2, 210 pound wide receiver from Montreal, Quebec will join the team for the 2015 OUA season.

With his commitment, he will reunite with a couple of former teammates.

“I went to Ottawa University because the campus is beautiful,” explained Harry of his decision.  “It was a perfect fit for me academically and in football.”

“Also, my old teammates from high school, Osas Obas and Ibra Ndiaye were a big part of my decision.”

Harry completed a short stint with CEGEP Division 1 team, Vanier Cheetahs.  This past season, he racked up 476 yards on 23 catches (average of 20.7 yards per catch) and scored two touchdowns.

Other teams he has previously suited up for include CEGEP Division 1 team Edouard-Montpetit Lynx and Chateauguay Raiders of the Quebec Junior Football League (QJFL). Harry began his career with high school team, Dalbe-Viau Aigles D’Or.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
