Gee-Gees welcome late addition from BC

uOttawa adds an out-of-province commit to their Class of 2017.

When Zach Lubin, a receiver from Centennial Secondary School, heard about the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees, he felt it was a program with many perks.

“I chose uOttawa because of its great coaching staff and the program is on the rise. I believe I could come in and contribute right away,” Lubin said.

The future psychology student added that the coaches “care for you as more than just a football player.”

Currently calling the west coast his home, the product of Coquitlam, BC, has played with Coquitlam Minor Football, North Surrey Minor Football and the Centennial Secondary Centaurs (BC Secondary Schools Football Association). In grade 12, he was named the Centaurs’ “unsung hero.” Lubin stand at 5’10, 200lbs.
