TORONTO – Darian Durant, Renauld Williams, Rene Paredes and Rob Bagg were named the Gibson’s Finest Players of the Week for Week 4 of the 2013 Canadian Football League season.
The four players were chosen by a panel of judges including: former Canadian Football League players Matt Dunigan and Duane Forde of TSN, and Pierre Vercheval of RDS.

Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Darian Durant was named the Offensive Player of the Week for Week 4. Durant threw for 347 yards, four touchdowns and completed 20 of his 32 pass attempts in Saskatchewan’s 37-0 win against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Durant, the all-time passing touchdown leader at University of North Carolina also rushed for 18 yards on two rushes.
Durant leads the CFL with 12 touchdown passes and leads all starting quarterbacks with a 136.9 QB rating.

Saskatchewan Roughriders linebacker Renauld Williams was named the Defensive Player of the Week for Week 4. Williams led the Saskatchewan Roughriders with two sacks and added three tackles in Saskatchewan’s shutout win over Hamilton.
Williams, a former player at Hofstra University leads the undefeated Roughriders (4-0) in sacks (5) and is tied for first in tackles (17) and interceptions (1).

Rene Paredes
K – Calgary Stampeders
Montreal Alouettes 27 @ Calgary Stampeders 38
Calgary Stampeders kicker Rene Paredes was named the Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 4. Paredes went perfect going four-for-four on field goals and added a pair of converts in the Stampeders 38-27 comeback win over the Alouettes.
In the game Paredes kicked field goals from 41, 28, 27 and 19 yards, extending his kicking streak to 29 in a row.
After four weeks into the season, Paredes currently leads the league in kicking points with 44.

Rob Bagg
WR – Saskatchewan Roughriders

Saskatchewan Roughriders wide receiver Rob Bagg was named the Canadian Player of the Week for Week 4. Bagg had five receptions for 125 yards and two touchdowns including a 60-yard touchdown in the Roughriders fourth straight win.
The former Queen’s University standout and native of Kingston, ON is tied for first with three receiving touchdowns and has 177 receiving yards on the season.
