John has played football for both St Jean de Brébeuf Braves and St Thomas More Knights of the Hamilton Wentworth Catholic Athletic Association (HWCAA) as well as the Hamilton Hurricanes of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).

“My highlight of last season was being able to win a city championship with my close friends, my brothers. I made bonds that will last,” says John of the championships he won with both the Hurricanes and the Knights this past year.

John draws a lot of strength from his mom,

“My Mother being a strong independent role model has always been my inspiration,” John adds.  “She’s always there for me and is my number one fan.”

Not only does the Knights standout have gridiron goals, but also some academic and career aspirations.

“My whole reason for playing football was too get an education out of it but if I’m capable of going further than why not go for it,” says John.  “I would like to go into law an hopefully one day become a lawyer.”

John is enjoying the sport and is taking as much as he can through the opportunities. While he has not committed anywhere as of yet, he is open to any possibilities.

“If I get an invite for a visit I would happily accept wherever it may be,” says John.

During the offseason, John plans to train by hitting the gym, going back to fundamentals and doing whatever it takes to improve as a player.
