Brazil lineman/fullback signs with CWUAA team
Dexter Da Silva will be continuing his career Alberta. However, it will be at the CIS level.
Recently, the 5’9, 225 pound lineman/fullback committed to the University of Alberta Golden Bears for the 2015 CWUAA season.
“I committed to the University of Alberta because they have helped me develop from nothing since day one of football in my grade 10 year,” said Da Silva of his commitment. “I believe the Golden Bears will be an amazing with all the recruits from this past year and this upcoming year.”
The native of San Paulo, Brazil will join the Golden Bears after he completes his senior year with the Harry Ainlay Titans of the Alberta Schools Athletic Association (ASAA). This season, Da Silva has already recorded two sacks and 170 rushing yards on 13 carries for the Titans.
