Golden Hawks attract three commits

Laurier is enjoying a successful recruitment period for the 2020 campaign, and have added three more commits to their list.

Keyon Gratton (6’4, 280 lbs) — Defensive Lineman from St Mary’s High School (Kitchener, ON)

Gratton is a hulking force on the defensive line and excels at defensive tackle. The six-foot-four specimen is a welcomed addition to the Golden Hawks’ defensive front, and will provide immense depth in 2020 moving forward.

Chidera Ubosi (6’6, 235 lbs) — Defensive Lineman from Abbey Park High School (Oakville, ON)

Laurier add another defensive standout in Ubosi, who will make a great addition on the defensive line. Ubosi’s instincts serve him well as he seeks to wreak havoc on opposing offences. The native of Oakville, Ont., projects to be a potential starter at the U Sports level.

Jason MacGougan (5’11, 215 lbs) — Long Snapper from M.M. Robinson High School (Burlington, ON)

MacGougan is a premiere long snapper from M.M. Robinson High School in Burlington, Ont. The stocky player specializes in the skill, and may prove to be a key component of Laurier’s specialty teams in the future.
