CFC50 No. 5 Saint-Jean-Eudes Condors (8-0) v.s CFC50 No. 40 College-Notre-Dame Cactus (5-4)
Sunday, November 10th at 1:00pm

College-Notre-Dame completed phase one of their playoff journey with zero issues, but life is about to get a whole lot harder with a showdown against the top ranked program in the province Saint-Jean-Eudes. The pair met in the season opener where the Cactus were able to hold their ground, and despite walking away with a 28-20 defeat, there were a lot of positives to take away. Nobody has come close to touching the Condors in the past five weeks seeing them rack up a combined 210-42 point differential, but you never know what will happen on a frosty afternoon in November.

CFC50 No. 22 College Charles-Lemoyne Dynamiques (7-2) v.s CFC50 No. 11 Seminaire Saint-Francois Blizzard (8-1)
Saturday, November 9th at 1:30pm

If their first matchup is any indicator, we’re in for a treat in the other DI semifinals featuring Charles-Lemoyne facing off against Saint-Francois. The Dynamiques surrendered homefield advantage back in week three dropping a close 17-14 contest to the Blizzard, and all eyes should be on the defensive side of the ball once again. It’ll be a different story if Saint-Francois can find a way to get their pass game going to compliment their strong run game, while Charles-Lemoyne will be looking to limit costly turnovers through the air, and form a reliable rushing attack by committee.

CFC25 No. 16 College Bourget Voltigeurs v.s CFC25 No. 8 Saint-Stanislas Patriotes

While Saint-Stanislas earned a weekend on the sidelines, College Bourget were busy dispatching Deux-Montagnes in a convincing quarterfinal shutout. They’re hoping they can roll that momentum into some redemption against the Patriotes, who defeated the Voltigeurs 17-10 a month ago, and 15-6 in the season finale to secure the first round bye. It’s always nice to get a break, but those two victories will become meaningless if they can’t protect hometurf in the playoffs.

CFC25 No. 23 College de Levis Commandeurs (4-4) v.s CFC25 No. 2 Seminaire Saint-Joseph Vert et Or (8-0)

Our final semifinal matchup of the week features College de Levis looking to shock the province with an upset over Saint-Joseph. Nobody has managed the feat with the Vert et Or running the table with a 8-0 regular season record, but as we’ve already mentioned, you can throw all records out the window in November. Bypassing the gap between their records in the standings, it was the Commandeurs who came closest to achieving victory in a heartbreaking 26-23 overtime loss a couple week ago, so the Vert et Or will need to be on high alert, or they can kiss their perfect season goodbye.

College de Levis Players to Watch
