John F Ross Royals running back Charles Carrier was the big winner at the recent Guelph District 10 Football Awards Luncheon, which was hosted by the Guelph Gryphons football program at the Clutten Fields Country Club.
Carrier was the recipient of the Nick Fitzgibbon Award for the league’s Most Outstanding Player.Β The Royals running back also picked up Outstanding Offensive Player honours.
Our Lady of Lourdes Crusaders grabbed two top honours as linebacker Stewart VanderMade was named Outstanding Defensive Player while linebacker Xavier Dowle was selected as Rookie of the Year.Β Rounding out the major award winners is Blake Aram of John F Ross Royals, who was chosen as Lineman of the Year.
