Guelph gets second Team Ontario LB commit to help fill Adam Dunk Void

John Rush (6’0 210 lb linebacker) just signed a LOI and committed to the University of Guelph. Rush was a standout linebacker for St. Michael’s Catholic High School in Niagara Falls. He played his summer ball for the Niagara Spears. John also led the defense for Team Ontario West in the Football Canada Cup. “We are really excited about getting another standout linebacker in the class of 2011 and we are encouraged as to how well our 2011 class is coming together,” said Guelph coach and recruiting coordinator Bill Brown.

John is equally excited about joining the Gryphons. “I am excited to be choosing Guelph University as my destination for school and football in 2011. I chose Guelph because of its longstanding tradition of excellence and the coaches dedication to producing successful players and a championship team. Thanks to coach Lang, coach MacNeil, and coach Brown for helping me work through this process. Go Gryphons… ”
