Hamilton defensive back joina OUA team’s 2015 class

Mitchell Phillips has inched one step closer to realizing his long-term gridiron goal.

Recently, the 6’2, 195 pound defensive back from Hamilton, Ontario committed to Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks.  Phillips will join the team for the 2016 OUA season.

Not only did he choose the Hawks because of the school’s academic strengths, but also because he truly feels the football program will help him in reaching his key gridiron objective – playing in the professional ranks.
