Thursday, August 25, 2016. Charlottetown β The Holland Hurricanes, four-time winners of the Atlantic Football Leagueβs Moosehead Cup, will have some new faces on the coaching staff this season, head coach Ross Young announced today.

Steve Letner will be back as assistant head coach and offensive and defensive line coordinator. Marc Reid will be the offensive coordinator; Peter Hess will work with the quarterbacks and inside receivers. Larry LeBlanc will work with both the offensive and defensive lines and special teams; Danny Redmond will coach the defensive backs and special teams. Shawn Fraser will work with the line backing corps.

There are two former Hurricanes players on the coaching staff. Jeff Hillier, who was a receiver for the Hurricanes for the last five years, will work with the receivers and running backs, and be special teams coordinator; and Nathan Conway, who played on the Hurricanesβ defensive line 2011 and 2012, will be a defensive line coach.

Holland College Sport and Leisure Management instructor Wyatt Inman will be the team strength and conditioning coach, and run testing and special teams. More information about the coaching staff, and information about the players roster will be released following training camp.

Hurricanes training camp starts on September 2 with registration and orientation, and moves to McAdam Field at UPEI Alumni Canada Games Place for the rest of the camp, ending on September 8.
