Bennett has played for the Vincent Massey Trojans of the Winnipeg High School Football League (WHSFL) and the Fort Garry Lions.

Among the honours the Trojans standout has achieved during his career include WHSFL Lineman of the Year, Trojans Lineman of the Year, and 2013 WHSFL ‘AAA’ All-Star selection.

This past May, Bennett was named to the CFC 100.  While he is thrilled of his inclusion in the rankings, the work doesn’t stop for him as he is striving to make a move on the CFC 100.

“When I found out I was ranked on the CFC 100, I was excited to know I was being recognized as a top athlete in the country and it was a huge privilege,” expressed Bennett.  “My goal is to now move up in the rankings and I’m doing that by training with Jeff Fisher, one of the top trainers in the nation at Elite Performance.”

With two partial NCAA Division 1 offers in tow, Bennett will take his time before making any future decisions on his gridiron career.

“I’m not in a rush to make a decision or a commitment at this time but I’m assuming it will be sometime during or after my senior season,” commented the Manitoba defensive end.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
