2011 FCC WRAPS-UP WITH CLOSING CEREMONIES
Following the last day of games at the 2011 Football Canada Cup, the event was capped off by closing ceremonies consisting of medal as well as all-star and MVP presentations. Linebacker– Marc-Antoine Varin (St-Hippolyte, QC), running back– Terrell Davis (Saanichton, BC) and kicker/ punter– Stephen Fabian (Brooks, AB) won the respective defensive, offensive and special teams tournament MVPs.
The final series of games saw Québec win gold 28-2 against host, Alberta while B.C. defeated Ontario West 14-1 in the bronze medal game at the University of Lethbridge Community Stadium. On the consolation side of the draw, Ontario East captured seventh place against Nova Scotia while Saskatchewan won the fifth place game against Manitoba.
