Ironmen roll over Bisons

On Saturday June 13th, under the stadium lights of Brantford’s Wayne Gretzky Centre, the Hamilton Ironmen Varsity Football team rolled over a struggling Brantford Bisons squad 49- 0 in OVFL action.

The Ironmen who started slow relied on the Defence to set the tone. Interceptions were recorded by Eric Cornell, Jef Delsordo, Karson Cocrane, as well as two from Frank Cerino, and one from DL Anthony Dinguanna who rumbled his in for a TD. The Offense looked to back up QB Zack Lacsalle who got the offence moving and threw 2 TD strikes to Curtis Pryce and one to Jacob Barry and while a banged up running game with Kotar and Silvestri injured, got 2 TD runs from David Smith and Julian Hooker to help the cause. Ironmen match up against the Halton Cowboys at McMaster University on June 27th @ 4pm.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
