Jason Hogan named new Vert et Or Offensive Coordinator

The Sherbrooke University Vert et Or will have a new coordinator starting Thursday, January 11th. Jason Hogan, who has been associated with the Montreal Alouettes for three years, will take over the offensive coordinating duties.

In addition to his professional experience as an attacking quality control coach, defensive assistant and pass receiver coach, the 31-year-old coach brings a six-year track record to the program. College of the Phénix at Collège André-Grasset, where he worked as coordinator for the attack from 2011 to 2014 and head of the quarter-backs, in 2009 and 2010. In six seasons with the Phoenix coaching staff, he helped to conquer three Bol d’Or.

Currently in training in the United States, the former Wolf Football Program Coordinator at Curé-Antoine-Labelle High School will take office this Thursday and join the other staff members and head coach of Vert & Or. Mathieu Lecompte to start working quickly with the players for the training phase of the winter term.

This appointment follows the resignation in the last days of 2017 of Brent Bailey, who led the Vert & Or last season.
