Jonathan Noiseux commits to Concordia football

Head coach Gerry McGrath is pleased to announce defensive back Jonathan (Jo Nouz) Noiseux has signed a letter of intent and will join the Concordia Stingers football program in January.

At six foot one, 212 pounds, Noiseux is a superb athlete. He is an accomplished track athlete and has played elite hockey. A native of Mont St. Hilaire, Que., he comes out of the Edouard Monpetit Lynx football program in the CEGEP AAA league.

“He is a great athlete,” McGrath says. “He is a big, strong lad that can run and jump. He has a 41-inch vertical leap. As an athlete he will definitely improve our team speed.”

His great athleticism allows Noiseux to play several positions, including cornerback, linebacker and running back. Most of his football experience has been at the cornerback position.

“The first time I visited Concordia, it felt like it was a big family here and I love the coach,” Noiseux said. “I knew it was a good place for me to learn about life and play football.”

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
