Just like that….

The 2011 season has come to a close for the Stingers. It is unfortunate the manner in which we lost to Laval. As I do every year I come into the season with certain expectations, and I did not see my season ending this way. Of course I’m pissed, and I’m upset. But what’s done is done and we can’t dwell on the past. All we can do as a team is go hard during the off-season and make sure this doesn’t happen again.

Since my season is over it is now a waiting game. I would be thrilled to get the opportunity to play in the East West game. The possibility to play has steadily been one of my goals since my first year. So we will see what happens, until then I plan on focusing on training.

I know I’ve said this time and time again but its feels like yesterday when I started university. Next year is going to be my 4th year; it’s wild just thinking about it. It is also my draft year, I got a lot of work to do and I want to get to it right away. I know this blog may be short but that’s all I really have to say. Bye for now, I plan on posting more blogs later on.

I usually have a quote here, but instead I am just going to say something that I have grown to understand a lot more… “attention to detail”. I’ve always heard it, but this year it finally clicked…
