Since CanadaFootballChat.com reported last month that the Pittsburgh Steelers reached out to the University of British Columbia (UBC) Thunderbirds, Taylor Loffler has been garnerning added attention from multiple scouts on both sides of the border.

Yesterday, the 6’4, 215 pound defensive back from Kelowna, British Columbia put on a showcase of his talents by participating in Boise State’s Pro Day in front of scouts from all 32 NFL teams.

Now that his Pro Day is completed, the defensive back will have to wait until the weekend of April 29th to see if his ultimate gridiron comes true as the 2016 NFL Draft will be held in Chicago.

Last month, Loffler particpated in the CFL National Combine in Toronto and his results were 4.75 40 Yard Dash, 30.5 inch Vertical Jump, 10’4.75 inch Broad Jump and 6.91 on the 3 Cone Drill.

During the 2015 Vanier Cup campaign with the Thunderbirds, he racked up 98 total tackles (68 solo, 38 assisted), six tackles for a loss, a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and four interceptions.
