Lakeshore Football Officials Association in need of new blood


The need for qualified officials for football leagues in Ontario is greater than ever.

The Lakeshore Football Officials Association, in existence since 1963, is actively recruiting individuals interested in officiating amateur football.

LFOA members officiate all levels of amateur football in the regions of Halton, Peel and Niagara, including all house league and city rep minor football programs, the Ontario Varsity Football League, the Ontario Football Conference and all area high school leagues.

A large number of LFOA members have advanced to demonstrate their skills in the Northern Football Conference, Canadian university football and the Canadian Football League.

Clinics and personal mentoring assist those individuals who wish to become a member of, or maintain their contact with, the football fraternity by becoming an official.
